Omer Gotlieb explains why modern buyers need more than forms and automated outreach. Salespeak.ai uses an AI Sales Brain to create real-time conversations that connect prospects with expert guidance. The approach offers B2B teams a more responsive way to build trust and turn website traffic into meaningful opportunities.
Omer Gotlieb is a second-time founder and go-to-market innovator reshaping how B2B companies engage buyers. He previously co-founded Totango, where he helped pioneer the customer success category and led its growth over 12 years before its acquisition. Today, as founder of Salespeak.ai, Omer is focused on fixing what he calls a “broken B2B buyer experience.” His company introduces the concept of an AI Sales Brain, an intelligent website layer that delivers expert, real-time conversations and turns static sites into conversion engines. Known for challenging outdated playbooks, Omer speaks widely about the future of buyer-first engagement, the rise of AI-powered go-to-market, and the urgent need for intelligent, frictionless buying experiences.
Company: Salespeak
We are thrilled to have you join us today, welcome to ValiantCEO Magazine’s exclusive interview! Let’s start off with a little introduction. Tell our readers a bit about yourself and your company.
Omer Gotlieb: I’m Omer Gotlieb, Co-Founder and CEO of Salespeak.ai. I’ve spent my career obsessed with one problem: the massive disconnect between how B2B companies try to sell and how modern buyers actually want to buy.
At Salespeak, we’ve built what we call the AI Sales Brain, a way to turn any static B2B website into an intelligent, always-on sales expert. Instead of pushing visitors through forms, SDR cadences, or “request a demo” buttons, we give buyers the experience they actually want: instant, expert-level conversations that feel like talking to your best account executive, 24/7.
The results speak for themselves. Our customers are seeing 30%+ more qualified leads from their existing traffic, better insights into what their buyers really care about, and a smoother, more self-directed buying experience that earns trust instead of creating friction.
Before Salespeak, I co-founded Totango, where I led go-to-market functions through its growth and eventual acquisition. That journey gave me a front-row seat to the frustrations buyers and sellers face in traditional B2B sales, and it inspired me to build something radically different.
At the end of the day, my mission is simple: to help B2B companies stop losing buyers to outdated sales funnels and start creating intelligent, buyer-first experiences that convert.
What specific areas of your business have been most impacted by AI, and how?
Omer Gotlieb: Two areas stand out:
Buyer Engagement: Our AI Sales Brain changes the first touchpoint with a company. Instead of a cold form or a chatbot that can’t answer real questions, buyers get instant, expert-level conversations. That shift alone has created 30%+ more qualified leads for our customers.
GTM Insights: The dialogues our AI has with buyers reveal valuable patterns, including: questions they are actually asking, what content is missing, and where objections and obstacles pop up. Those insights provide crucial context for updating product roadmaps, refining messaging, and shortening sales cycles.
How are you ensuring ethical considerations are taken into account in your use of AI?
Omer Gotlieb: This is a critical point. For us, ethics means transparency, accuracy, and control. Our AI is trained on the company’s own documentation, so answers come from their verified knowledge base, not hallucinations or scraped internet noise. We also give companies control over what’s ingested, how responses are framed, and what gets surfaced to buyers.
The other piece is respecting the buyer. We don’t trick people into conversations or harvest their data under the radar. If anything, we’re giving them more control—letting them self-direct their journey instead of forcing them through a funnel.
What advice would you give to other CEOs looking to integrate AI into their business?
Omer Gotlieb: Start with the buyer experience, not the tech stack. Too many CEOs look at AI as an internal efficiency play, “how do I automate SDR emails?” when the real opportunity is to rethink how you serve your customers.
Also, don’t get paralyzed by the hype. Pick one friction point where AI can create immediate value, pilot it, and learn from the results. The CEOs who wait for “perfect clarity” on AI will be left behind by those willing to experiment and adapt in real time.
How do you see AI evolving in your industry over the next 5 years?
Omer Gotlieb: I think the most disruptive shift that will take place in the next five years will be AI-to-AI commerce. Soon, buyers won’t even visit your website directly; they’ll send their AI agent. That agent will scan, compare, and decide based on how well your content is structured for machines.
In that world, the companies that win won’t be the ones with the flashiest marketing, but the ones whose digital presence can speak fluently to both humans and AI. Salespeak is preparing for that future now, because when AI agents are negotiating the buyer journey, you can’t afford to be invisible.
