Company: HumanOS

We are thrilled to have you join us today, welcome to ValiantCEO Magazine’s exclusive interview! Let’s start off with a little introduction. Tell our readers a bit about yourself and your company

Bianca Errigo: I am a wellness expert, speaker and founder of the health optimisation platform HumanOS, my passion for wellness comes from personal experience, and a desire to learn from the hardest times in my life, and to be of assistance to others. At HumanOS we combine best-in-field specialists with powerful technology to provide a proactive and sustainable approach to employee wellbeing and performance. Our clients include American Express, CDW, Snapchat, The University of Cambridge, the NHS and many more. I am a Stress Management Specialist, CBT and Mindfulness Practitioner, Level 3 life coach, and Level 4 Advanced Personal Trainer and originally graduated with a BSc in Psychology. I began my career working for the world’s largest IT services company but after a number of successful, but extremely stressful years coupled with the loss of my father, I saw a dramatic deterioration in my own health which led to me being hospitalised. I now combine my education, time in the corporate world, almost 12000 one on one coaching hours and experience partnering with some of the world’s largest organisations to deliver wellbeing talks and services that enhance both individual health and business success.

If you were in an elevator with Warren Buffett, how would you describe your company, your services or products? What makes your company different from others? What is your company’s biggest strength?

Bianca Errigo: HumanOS is at the intersection of health, performance, and sustainability—helping companies grow through valued, dedicated and motivated employees. Our 360° health optimisation platform not only boosts employee wellbeing but also business performance. By integrating advanced technology with human expertise, we help companies create a culture where people thrive and are motivated to bring their best. We go beyond typical wellness solutions, we merge the power of data-driven insights, tailored wellbeing strategies, and expert human coaches to create real, lasting change. We don’t just focus on immediate benefits but on fostering long-term high performance by transforming company culture from the inside out. It’s not a one-size-fits-all approach; it’s personalised, sustainable, and measurable. Our biggest strength lies in our holistic approach. We’re not just optimising health; we’re fostering resilience, emotional intelligence, and sustainable high performance. Our solutions are deeply rooted in understanding our businesses, their people and their individual needs. We are elevating the workplace.

Quiet quitting, The Great Resignation, is an ongoing trend causing many businesses to struggle to keep talent engaged and motivated. Most are leaving because of their boss or their company culture. 82% of people feel unheard, undervalued, and misunderstood in the workplace. In your experience, what keeps employees happy? And how are you adapting to the current shift we see?

Bianca Errigo: At HumanOS, we see that engaged, valued employees are content employees. People need to feel heard, safe, supported, and understood in their work environment. That’s why we focus on meeting the basic psychological needs of individuals and then supporting them in building habits and behaviours that will ensure they have the best chance of future success. By investing in a culture of trust and wellbeing, we help companies build environments where employees can truly thrive. We’ve adapted by offering a proactive solution that doesn’t wait for things to go wrong for people, personalised coaching tailored to their needs, and insights that empower businesses to understand and address these challenges head-on.

Online business keeps on surging higher than ever, B2B, B2C, online shopping, virtual meetings, remote work, Zoom medical consultations, what are your expectations for the year to come and how are you capitalizing on the tidal wave?

Bianca Errigo: The shift toward online business has unlocked new ways for many of us to scale our impact. We’ve embraced the virtual shift by making our health optimisation tools and coaching easily accessible remotely. Looking ahead, I see hybrid work environments becoming the norm, and we’re preparing to continue supporting organisations in this way. I do believe however there will always be the need for real human connection and the future lies in finding the right balance between the online and real world. Utilising technology to scale and optimise the human experience but never to replace it totally.

Business is all about overcoming obstacles and creating opportunities for growth. What do you see as THE real challenge right now?

Bianca Errigo: The real challenge for businesses right now is maintaining human connection in a tech-driven world. Leaders need to be able to leverage technology without losing sight of the human needs of their employees—striking this balance is crucial for growth. The world is moving so quickly and people are becoming more and more rushed – often the sacrifice of this is a meaningful connection. A necessity both within the workplace and our personal lives.

In your experience, what tends to be the most underestimated part of running a company? Can you share an example?

Bianca Errigo: Communication. It is so simple but yet organisations still get it so wrong. Communication is frequently underestimated, especially when it comes to transparency and clarity. Companies tend to overlook how critical clear, open communication is in building trust. We worked with a team that struggled with internal misalignment, which stemmed from poor communication between departments. Once we implemented a structured communication strategy, including regular feedback loops and leadership transparency, collaboration improved dramatically, and so did overall performance.

On a lighter note, if you had the ability to pick any business superpower, what would it be and how would you put it into practice?

Bianca Errigo: I’d choose the ability to instantly see and understand the true potential in every individual. It would allow me to unlock people’s hidden strengths even faster, enabling them to grow and thrive at a pace that maximises both their personal and professional success. It would be a game-changer for empowering leaders and employees to achieve their full potential. I’d also have the power to give them the confidence they needed to unlock their own potential.

What does “success” in 2024 mean to you? It could be on a personal or business level, please share your vision

Bianca Errigo: At a professional level it’s about continuing to grow HumanOS and to help more businesses understand that performance and wellbeing go hand in hand, moving the needle toward lasting positive change in how people work and live and creating cultures of sustainable high performance. On a personal level it is to ensure during this journey I also look after myself and continue to give myself what I need and ensure my own wellbeing needs are met as well.
