Rasa Urbonaite: Hi, I am Rasa Urbonaite, the CMO of Breezit, a wedding and event organization based in California. We help our clients find outstanding venues for their wedding. At Breezit, I am responsible for achieving business growth through competitive insight, product positioning, and digital marketing strategies.

How has your approach to leadership evolved to meet the changing expectations of today’s workforce, especially regarding remote and hybrid work?

Rasa Urbonaite: My leadership has become more focused on clear, consistent communication and results-oriented management, allowing team members the flexibility to work in ways that best suit them. I prioritize trust and empower the team to set their own schedules, which helps accommodate remote and hybrid needs effectively.

What specific strategies have you implemented to foster Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) within your organization?

Rasa Urbonaite: At Breezit, we’ve embedded DEI principles in hiring practices, ensuring diverse representation at every stage. We also host regular workshops to foster an inclusive mindset and create safe spaces for open discussions, ensuring all voices are heard.

How do you keep your team engaged and motivated in a workplace culture that increasingly values flexibility and work-life balance?

Rasa Urbonaite: I focus on recognizing achievements and providing growth opportunities, which keeps the team motivated. Additionally, we encourage flexible hours and time-off policies, allowing team members to recharge and maintain a healthy work-life balance.

What do you see as the biggest challenges in preparing for the future workforce, and how are you addressing them?

Rasa Urbonaite: One of the biggest challenges is adapting quickly to new technologies while maintaining strong interpersonal connections. To address this, we emphasize continuous learning and foster a collaborative culture, ensuring the team stays agile and connected.

How has the shift toward digital and remote collaboration affected your company culture, and what adjustments have you made to maintain a strong, cohesive team?

Rasa Urbonaite: Digital collaboration has required us to be more intentional in our communication and team-building efforts. We’ve introduced regular virtual check-ins and use collaborative tools to stay connected, ensuring our culture remains supportive and cohesive despite physical distance.
